NOT YOUR TRADITIONAL SEMESTER
This timeline is provided as a courtesy to AASD students, families, and the community to aid in the process of understanding how the Appleton eSchool works.
The Appleton eSchool is not conducted on the traditional semester academic model calendar. The eSchool timeline allows flexibility for students to take and complete our eSchool classes throughout the school calendar year as well as during the eSchool Summer Interim. Summer interim information, when available, is generally the first Monday after school is out in June through about the 3rd full week of July.
eSchool course request registrations are ongoing through February 17 for the 22-23 school year for students seeking to start one course or blended schedules. Full-Time eSchool student registration is set to conclude around the end of January of each year.

21 – eSchool Ongoing A La Carte Course Requests/Registration Opens
30 – Student & Parent training & information event – 5:30 – 7:00pm
SEPT
5 – Full-Time (FT) eSchool student kickoff
5 – eSchool online orientation enrollments begin (online orientation first week of school)
7 – FT eSchool student orientation deadline
7 – A La Carte (part-time) course enrollments begin
21 – eSchool Governing Board 1:30 @ East High School
OCT
1 – Last day for Full-time online applications for fall semester to begin during fall term. Students can still be considered for term 2 in January.
17 – Student & Parent Information Event – 4:00 – 8:30

15 – No School MLK Jr. Day
17 – Final Day to turn in full-time eSchool application for the remainder of the school year to begin term 2.
18 & 19 - January eSchool final exam sessions - 2:15 - 3:30 both days at East, West and North High Schools.
22 – No School Professional Development

21 – Last day to turn in a course request to begin a class on March 1
28 – Deadline for online orientation course to be completed to begin a class March 1
MAR
1 – Last day to start an eSchool course for the school year (next available start is the summer interim session)

11 – Student & Parent Training Event – 4pm – 8:30 pm
12 – ACT for Juniors
15 – Last day to begin the second semester (continuation) of a course previously enrolled during the current school year

16 – Step 2 Online Registration Begins – Online Orientation Mini-Course Access Starts

24 – No School Professional Development – eSchool Final Exam opportunity. Details to be announced.
JUN
5 – Last day to request a summer interim session course (Don’t wait, courses will fill up!
6 – by 10AM – Last day to complete the interim online orientation course
10 – Virtual First day of class for all summer courses
24 – Drop date without academic penalty
